Please call Linda Waddell by 8-17-19 (if possible) 423-284-8695 to sign up to be a consignor and/or volunteer for the Heather & Hannah’s Children’s Consignment Sale. Earn 70% of the purchase price, less an entry fee of $6.00 & one or more non-perishable food items to be donated to the Mt. Olive Ministeies benevolence ministry. Consignors and volunteers get to shop early! (Visit the “When” page at the top for all the dates.)
Items accepted include:
- Fall & Winter boy/girl clothing sizes 0 – College (brand name, excellent condition or trendy styles only please, (will accept only a few pieces of late summer items)
- Maternity clothing
- Dress code clothing
- Halloween/Dress-up
- Christmas attire
- Sports equipment/Swimwear
- Baby & toddler equipment & furniture (cribs (no dropside), playpens, cradles, swings, strollers, high chairs, bouncers, changing tables, bassinets, and car seats – see recall info below)
- Toys (including large & outside riding toys)
- Shoes (limit 5 per child, must be in like-new condition)
- Purses, belts, backpacks
- Bedding & wall decor
- Home Decor ( including all seasons) no large pieces or furniture please
- Videos, games, books, puzzles
Items not accepted include: No stuffed animals, painted toys, or handmade toys.
After you have called to obtain your consignor number, here is how to get started tagging clothes:
- All clothes should be clean and on hangers pointing to the left with tags on the right shoulder.
- Safety pin a FULL 3×5 INDEX CARD ONLY stating your number, size of item, brief description, and price.
- Use ONE INCH OR LARGER SAFETY PINS to pin on tags (NO STRAIGHT PINS OR CLOTHES PINS)
- Price the item at a price you would want to pay. You determine the price in $1.00 INCREMENTS ONLY. PLEASE NO .99 OR .50.
- Toys are great sellers! Make sure they are clean, working, and all the pieces are together. Any small pieces should be in Ziploc bags, clearly labeled and securely attached to the main part with packing tape or safety pins.
- Group boys and girls clothing separately according to size (not S-M-L please, except Junior shirts or dresses if they are labeled so). Please make sure your clothing is sorted before you arrive. Thank you so much!!!
Please place the safety pin at the top of card, come down one inch (approx) before filling out card. Please follow example below :
N/D (No Discount) – if you do not want your item to be discounted 1/2 off on Saturday, please write N/D in RED in the lower left-hand corner of the 3×5 index card. All items not designated as N/D in RED will be sold at 1/2 off the listed price on Saturday.
Please allow ample time at drop-off for clothing to be quickly inspected before you hang your items. All items must be clean and in good condition. No tears, stains, broken zippers, or missing buttons.
